# Email notifications

> Choose which emails Paperlink AI sends you, and when they arrive.

Paperlink AI sends a small number of emails about your workspace. Each person chooses which emails they get, so the inbox stays quiet.

## The four categories

| Category | What it covers | Can you turn it off? |

Open **Notifications** in the dashboard sidebar to change your choices. Each person sets their own choices.

## When alerts arrive

* Reply alerts arrive at 60%, 80% and 90% of your monthly replies.
* Processing budget alerts arrive at 80% and 100% of your monthly budget.
* Documents that fail to process also cause an alert.

Trial reminders belong to Billing and service. They arrive 3 days and 1 day before the trial ends. Trial reminders go only to workspaces with a card on file. The install tip and the weekly report go to workspaces with a card on file and to Enterprise workspaces.

## Timezone

> Only workspace Admins can change this. Members see the current values without edit controls.

The timezone sets the time of the weekly report. The report arrives on Monday at 9:00 in this timezone. Until an Admin sets a timezone, the workspace uses UTC.

## Email limits

Each person gets at most 2 non-critical emails in a rolling 24 hours. Paperlink AI adds the extra emails to the weekly report. Billing and service emails are not part of this limit.

## Unsubscribe

Every email that is not about billing has an unsubscribe link. Select the link to stop that kind of email in one step. You do not need to sign in.
