# Plans and the trial

> Compare plans, see what the trial includes, and learn what counts as a reply.

Every plan gives you the same bot and widget. Plans differ in replies, knowledge pages and seats.

## The trial

There is no free plan. You choose a plan and add a card when you create the workspace. First-time customers get a 7-day trial. We charge the card when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.

During the trial you get 200 replies and 100 knowledge pages whichever plan you pick, plus the full unanswered report. If you, your workspace or your email address had a subscription before, there is no trial. We then charge the card on the day that you subscribe.

Annual plans are billed for 10 months, so you get 2 months free. The monthly allowance still resets every month. Founding prices are locked for 12 months. Prices are in USD; taxes are calculated at checkout.

We read up to 5,000 page addresses for each website.

Each workspace can add up to 5 websites each day.

## Pick a plan when you sign up

After you name your workspace, the plan picker opens. Growth is selected and marked Recommended. Select a plan and a billing period, then add your card on the checkout page.

The dashboard opens when Dodo Payments confirms your card. This usually takes a few seconds. If it takes longer, select **Check again**. To start over, select **Choose a plan again**.

If you leave the checkout page without paying, we do not charge you. If you cancel the checkout or the payment fails, the plan picker opens again with a notice that checkout was not completed. If you close the tab, the plan picker opens again the next time that you sign in.

The picker shows the length of the trial. It does not show a charge date. After checkout, the dashboard banner shows the date, in your local time. If you had a subscription before, the picker shows that we charge the card today. On the plan picker you can switch to another workspace or sign out.

Only an Admin can complete checkout. A Member of a workspace without a plan sees a message to ask an Admin. For Enterprise, [talk to us](https://paperlinkai.com/contact-support).

## Choose or change a plan

**1. Open Billing**

Select **Billing** in the dashboard sidebar.

**2. Pick a billing period**

Use the toggle to select **Monthly** or **Annual**.

**3. Select a plan**

Select a plan in the picker. The button reads **Choose a plan** or **Change plan**.

**4. Complete checkout**

Pay with Dodo Payments. The page returns to Billing and shows "Payment received. Your plan updates in a few seconds."

The **Invoices** card lists your last 12 invoices. Subscribers change plans through **Manage billing**.

## What every plan includes

Every plan includes the widget, the Playground and the source page behind every answer in the dashboard. Every plan also includes the contact fallback when the bot cannot answer, and usage alerts by email.

> A reply is one answered question. When the bot says it does not know, the question is free. Errors and ratings are also free.

## Bots per workspace
