# Team and roles

> Invite people to your workspace and choose what each role can do.

Your team shares one workspace, one bot and one set of documents. Roles decide who can change settings and billing.

## Invite people

**1. Open Team**

Select **Team** in the dashboard sidebar. The page shows the members of your workspace.

**2. Invite a person**

Enter the email address of the person. Choose a role for them. Send the invitation.

**3. Change a role later**

Return to **Team** at any time. Change the role of a member from the same list.

The Team page is the organization profile from our sign-in provider, Clerk. Invitations and roles work the same way as in that profile.

Members see the widget settings without edit controls. Usage bars on Overview are hidden from Members.

## Seats

Each plan shows a seat count. See [Plans and the trial](https://paperlinkai.com/docs/guides/account/plans.md) for the full table.

## Switch workspaces

If you belong to more than one workspace, use the workspace switcher in the sidebar. Select the workspace that you want to open.

## Terms of Service

Each person accepts the Terms of Service one time. The acceptance applies to all of the workspaces that you belong to, so a new workspace does not ask again.

If you sign up with your work email, the Terms checkbox on the sign-up page is your acceptance. If you open the dashboard within 7 days of sign-up, the dashboard does not ask again, also on a different browser or device. After 7 days, the dashboard asks you to accept the Terms one time.

If you sign up with Google or Microsoft, the dashboard asks you to accept the Terms the first time that you open it.

When we publish a new version, the dashboard shows the dialog "We updated our Terms of Service". Accept the new Terms to continue.
