No. The bot answers only from the documents that you upload and the website pages that you import. It does not use general knowledge or other websites. When your content does not hold the answer, the bot says so.

Import your website or upload your documents, create a widget key in Settings, and paste one script tag on your site. Setup takes five steps. A large website takes longer to import than a small one. You need no developer beyond pasting the snippet. See the Quickstart.

Your dashboard shows the source page behind every answer.In our internal evaluation (September 2026) the bot answered 93.8% of answerable questions correctly. The bot says so and shows your support email or link instead of a guess. Visitors can send you the conversation when you turn that on in Settings. The question appears in your Unanswered report, so you can add the missing page. See Support contact and Unanswered questions.

Every plan includes a monthly reply allowance. Annual plans include it too. We email you at 60%, 80% and 90% of your replies.Reply packs cost $15 per 1,000 extra replies. Buy 1 to 100 packs at a time. Credits roll over until you use them and are spent only after your monthly allowance runs out.If the allowance and your credits run out, the widget shows your contact details. Answers resume in three ways: wait for the next period, buy a reply pack, or upgrade. See Replies and reply packs.

Each workspace keeps its documents and chats isolated from every other workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Paperlink AI and its AI providers never train on your content. When you delete a document, we remove it from active systems promptly. Backups expire within 30 days. See Security.

Yes. Set the bot name, welcome message, brand color, position and chat icon in Settings. The widget picks a readable text color for your brand color. See Widget appearance.

The bot replies in the language that the visitor writes in. You can upload documents in any language. The labels of the widget are in English only. See Languages.

Yes. Add the public pages of your docs or help center in the Websites card on the Documents page. Paperlink AI updates the pages on a schedule that depends on your plan. See Import a website.

Paperlink AI updates imported website pages on a schedule that depends on your plan. During the trial, there are no automatic updates. To check a website at once, select Update now on its row. For an uploaded document, upload the new version with the same name. See Automatic updates and Upload documents.

There is no free plan. You choose a plan and add a card when you create the workspace. First-time customers get a 7-day trial. We charge the card when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.During the trial you get 200 replies and 100 knowledge pages whichever plan you pick, plus the full unanswered report. If you, your workspace or your email address had a subscription before, there is no trial. We then charge the card on the day that you subscribe.See Plans.
