Keyboard use
Visitors can use the widget with a keyboard.- Enter sends a message.
- Shift+Enter starts a new line.
- Escape closes the panel.
- Focus stays inside the open floating panel until the visitor selects the page.
Screen readers
The widget announces each finished answer once to screen readers. It does not repeat the text while the answer streams.Choose a brand color with good contrast
The widget picks white or slate text for the best contrast on your brand color. Some mid-tone colors can still fall below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio. Pick a brand color that passes a contrast checker.Known limits
- The accessibility statement covers the widget. The dashboard is not yet assessed.
- A manual audit with screen readers is planned. It is not complete.
- Answers come from AI and can be wrong. The visitor does not see the source documents in the chat.
